It also stays relatively cool for a foam bed.
It’s comfortable for back sleepers
The Tuft & Needle Mint mattress is a cool hybrid mattress that supports the back and promotes proper spinal alignment. Its thick comfort layers provide a traditional contouring feel and support back sleepers with minimal discomfort. It also absorbs motion to provide a comfortable night’s sleep. Back sleepers may find the Mint comfortable for their back, but tummy sleepers may find it uncomfortable.
This medium-firm foam mattress is best for people who weigh between 130 and 230 pounds. If you’re a heavier person, you won’t get proper lower back support from the Mint mattress. However, this foam bed is easy to adjust to different positions and is not too noisy. The Mint mattress is also ideal for people who experience shoulder, hip, or back pain. Those with back pain may prefer a firmer mattress.
It’s too soft for sex
While the Mint mattress isolates motion well, it is too soft for sex. While the Mint mattress is not too soft for sex, it lacks the bounce, support, and responsiveness necessary for intimate moments. A good sex mattress should be comfortable for both partners and reduce noise. If you and your partner are prone to being overheard, the Mint mattress is probably not the best choice.
A typical back or stomach sleeper may feel too much sinking into the Mint mattress’s layers. This will cause body alignment problems, and a heavy person might feel pressure in their hips.
